Pittsburgh, PA, April 14, 2020 – GROUP 2, a Pittsburgh-based marketing, design and branding firm, has announced that with the dissolution of Third Planet Global Creative (TPGC), GROUP 2 will add TPGC’s co-founder and the firm’s applicable business relationships to its own firm. TPGC co-founder and managing director Brian Campbell will transition to GROUP 2, as well as integrate a senior support team to broaden GROUP 2’s offerings and services to clients. TPGC has been a nationally recognized brand marketing group also based in Pittsburgh.
“We’ve known Brian Campbell and Third Planet Global Creative for years and have always respected their work and their approach to client service,” said Kelly McKenzie, President of GROUP 2. “We’re pleased to welcome Brian to the GROUP 2 family.”
While GROUP 2 is currently located in the city’s East Liberty neighborhood, McKenzie said it is exploring relocation options and will likely announce a new, permanent location in the near future for the firm’s core team.
“In recent years, I became interested in advancing to a new chapter in my career; one of learning and sharing to apply my brand, design, and management knowledge with expanded resources,” said Campbell. “As my discussions with Kelly evolved from informal to more serious, I realized that this would be an ideal fit for me and GROUP 2, as well as for enhancing services to our clients.”
