Kristen Cooke Bio  |  Fun Facts About Kristen

Kristen joined Group 2 Design after relocating to Pittsburgh from her Chicago-area hometown, where she worked for Ignition Studio, Inc., an agency focused on marketing, branding, and advertising. Her clients ranged from industrial manufacturers to construction companies to a variety of non-profits, who tapped Kristen’s skills for Web and print design and advertising, store and promotional signage, fund-raising activities, branding/identity projects, trade shows, and more.

Kristen enjoys the process of design and finds it as rewarding as the final product; from research & brainstorming to exploring and executing different visual problems. She finds being a graphic designer a daily creative outlet and the only job where having a sense of humor is practically a requirement. She couldn't see herself in an industry where laughing and having fun wasn't part of the job.

What Kristen really likes about the culture at Group 2 is the creative freedom and comfortable atmosphere to express ideas. She believes an environment like this is crucial to forming truly creative, FUN and effective design.

Kristen has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating in 2005.
